Aspectual particle

- Also known as: 时态助词 (shítài zhùcí) and 动态助词 (dòngtài zhùcí).
These words are added to verbs to indicate aspect (not the same as tense). The particles most often used to indicate aspect in Chinese are 了 (le), 过 (guo), and 着 (zhe).
