Descriptive complements are used to describe the action of a verb. This would be done with an adverb in English.

The structure is:

Verb / adjective + 得 + Description

Some examples:

  • 你 说 很 好。
  • 他 做 很 不 好。
  • 她 搽 化妆品 搽 好看。
