再说 (zàishuō) is used in a similar way as "In addition" or "Moreover," in that it is adding on additional information or reasons to the topic at hand.

Structure

Just add 再说 to the beginning of the second clause of your sentence. Remember that both statements should be related to each other!

Note that 也 is often used in the second clause.

Examples

这么晚，别走了。再说，外面正在下雨。Zhème wǎn, bié zǒu le. Zàishuō, wàimiàn zhèngzài xiàyǔ.It's so late. Stay. Besides, it's raining outside.
他喜欢，让他去吧。再说，他在家也没事干。Tā xǐhuan, ràng tā qù ba. Zàishuō, tā zài jiā yě méi shì gàn.He likes it. Let him go. Besides, he's got nothing to do at home.
