来自 (láizì) is used to express where something or someone comes from. Its meaning is similar to "to come from" in English.

Structure

Subj. + 来自 + noun

Examples

  • 来自中国. I come from China.
  • 公司从来自政府的报告中看到了希望. The company saw hope from the government's report.
  • 我设计的这副作品来自小王的启发. This piece of work I designed was inspired by Xiao Wang.
