Pronunciation Tips for -uan (A2)
Not all "-uan" sounds are the same!
- We cover the basic "-uan" sound (with "wan") in the "o" and "u" vowels
- The syllable "yuan" is a bit different because it has a "stealth ü" vowel, and is covered in the "ü" vowel
- The other "ü" vowel "-uan" sounds ("xuan," "quan," "juan") are covered in the "j" "q" and "x" sounds
