Comparing "cang" and "duo"
藏 and 躲 are similar in the fact that both are verbs and are used in informal or formal settings. As well, when 藏 and 躲 are not followed by an object, they usually can be used interchangeably. Yet, these words are have differences. First, only 藏 can also be used to mean to conceal. Another difference is only 躲 can be used as to avoid or to evade.
