The adverbial phrase, 打交道 (dajīaodao) is the Chinese equivalent of the English phrase, to come into contact with someone/something or have dealings with said someone/something.

Structure

打交道 is often used if you want to say "I have dealt with him before," or "I'd like to be in contact with them."
