When using 跟 (gēn) as a preposition, it is used the same way "with" is in English. The other subject can be any kind of noun, but is usually associated with joint-action "with" another person.

Here are some examples using this preposition:

  • 昨天 晚上 我 我 的 朋友 吃 晚饭。
  • 每天 我 他 争吵。
  • 他 喝 啤酒 吗?
