尽量 (jǐnliàng) is an adverb meaning "as much as possible" or "to the greatest extent". In this article, we will do our best to explain how to use it!

Using 尽量 is as simple as adding it before a verb.

尽量 + Verb/Adjective

我会尽量帮你的。Wǒ huì jǐnliàng bāng nǐ de.I will help you as much as I can.
你尽量说吧，我们都有耐心听。Nǐ jǐnliàng shuō ba, wǒmen dōu yǒu nàixīn tīng.Do your best to speak, we'll all listen patiently.
你看书吧，我尽量不打扰你。Nǐ kànshū ba, wǒ jǐnliàng bù dǎrǎo nǐ.Go ahead and study, I'll do my best to not disturb you.
你应该尽量多陪陪孩子。Nǐ yīnggāi jǐnliàng duō péi péi háizi.You should do as much as possible to be with the children.
