Using "because" with "er" to indicate effect

...因为...而 (...yīnwèi...ér) (...because of cause A so result B).

Here are some examples:

• 他 因为 长得 很 胖 而 被 同学 欺负。
• 我 因为 今晚 要 自习 而 无法 参与 课外 活动。
• 许多 慈善 机构 因为 缺钱 而 倒闭。
