Expressing "as long as" with "zhiyao"

只要 (zhǐyào...jiù) means "as long as/provided, and can be used to express a result which has a necessary condition. The following phrase often uses 就 to mean "provided X then Y"

For example:

• 只要 人人 每天 做 一 件 好事儿 ，我们 的 社会 就 会 变 得 越 来 越 好。
• 只要 是 下雨天，她 就 会 撒谎 请假。
• 只要 你 愿意 就 行 了，其他 的 都 不 重要。
