Expressing "in this way" with "zheyang"

这样 (zhèyàng) is used at the beginning of the sentence to express "in this way."

Common Use of 这样

Condition，这样 + Result / Purpose

我们还是坐地铁吧，这样更方便。Wǒmen háishì zuò tìtiě ba, zhèyàng gèng fāngbiàn. We'd better take the metro. It's more convenient this way.
你过来找我吧，这样比较快。Nǐ guòlái zhǎo wǒ ba,zhèyàng bǐjiào kuài. You should come to my place. It's faster this way.
你要多吃蔬菜，这样更健康。Nǐ yào duō chī shūcài, zhèyàng gèng jiànkāng. You should eat more vegetables. It's healthier this way.
你要多说，这样才能练习口语。Nǐ yào duō shuō, zhèyàng cái néng liànxí kǒuyǔ. You need to speak more. You can practice spoken Chinese this way.
