Resultative complement "kai"

开 (kāi) means "to open", but when used as complement



as a complement to literally mean "open up" (as in 拆开). However, it can also be used abstractly to mean to "open up and solve", as in 说开 (explain clearly), or as a directional complement to mean "away" as in 走开.

  • 他 很 着急 地拆 开 信封。
  • 我 原来 很 想 不 开,但是 见到 心理医生 之后 就 想 开 了。
  • 把 问题 说 开 了 就 好。
  • 走 开!我 再也 不 想 见 到 你 了!
