Causative verb

Also known as: 使令动词 (shǐlìng dòngcí) and 使役动词 (shǐyì dòngcí).

A causative verb is a kind of verb that is used to indicate that someone or something causes something else to do or be something. In Chinese, 让 (ràng) is a major player in this space.
