另外 (lìng wài) can be used to express "in addition", often with 还 used in the following phrase.

我爱旅游，看书，画画儿，另外我还喜欢看电影，特别是科幻片。I love to travel, read books, and paint. In addition, I also like to watch movies, especially science fiction.
不好意思先生，这里是 VIP 室，要另外加钱才能用。I'm sorry sir, this is the VIP section. You will have to pay more in order to use it.
希望你能更积极地参与会议的讨论。另外，你还应该穿得正式一点。I hope you can positively contribute to this meeting's discussion. You should also dress a little more formally.

When used as a pronoun, 另外 can also be used to denote "the other", as in 另外的人, "the other person".
