Comparing specifically with "xiang"

You can compare specific characteristics with the word 像.

Structure

像 (xiàng) is used to compare a specific characteristic of two things or people, and can be used in the following structure:

Noun1 + 像 + Noun2 + (那么...Adjective)

Examples

• 如果 我 像 你 那么 讨 女生 喜欢，我 肯定 早就 找 到 女朋友 了!If girls liked me like they like you, I would have already found a girlfriend!
• 我 又 不 像 你 那么 庸俗！I'm definitely not as vulgar as you are!
• 我 也 像 你 那么 爱 花 钱，但是 还好 我 的 工资 不 像 你 的 那么 低。I like to spend money just like you, but luckily my wages aren't as low as yours.
