Comparisons with "biqi"
Using the 比起...来 (bǐ qǐ... lái) structure, you are able to make comparisons between two things (A and B).

In these two structures, 比起... 来 is used to compare A and B, with emphasis on A. A can also be placed before 比起。
比起 + B (+ 来) ，A ~
Examples
- 比起上海 ，我 老家 的 物价 便宜 多 了。Compared to Shanghai, the prices in my hometown are way cheaper.
- 比起 你 来 ，我 还 差得远 呢。Compared with you, I'm still far from it.
- 本科生 比起 博士生 来，学位 要 低 很 多 。An undergraduate student's degree is much lower than a that of a doctoral student.

Examples
- 相比 网络 教学 ，我 更 喜欢 面对面 教学。I like face-to-face teaching more than online teaching.
- 与 网络 教学 相比，我 更 喜欢 面对面 教学。I like face-to-face teaching more than online teaching.
- 相比 几十 年 前 ，中国 的 农村 发生 了 很 大 变化。Compared with decades ago, China's rural areas have undergone great changes.
- 与 几十 年 前 相比，中国 的 农村 发生 了 很 大 变化。Compared with decades ago, China's rural areas have undergone great changes.
- 相比 网络 广告 ，平面 广告 贵 很 多 。Compared with online advertising, print advertising is much more expensive.
- 和 平面 广告 相比 ，网络 广告 没 那么 贵 。Compared with print advertising, online advertising is not that expensive.
- 相比 身体 的 问题，精神 的 问题 更难 治疗。Mental problems are more difficult to treat than physical problems.
- 和 身体的 问题 相比 ，精神 的 问题 更难 治疗。Mental problems are more difficult to treat than physical problems.
