Revision as of 07:26, 25 September 2012 by Oversjw0 (talk | contribs)

The phrases "一点也不 [Adj]" and "一点都不 [Adj]" can both be used to express "not at all [Adj]."

Structure

Subject + 一点也不 + Adjective

The alternate form uses 都 instead of 也:

Subject + 一点都不 + Adjective

This describes the subject as being "not at all adjective" or "not even slightly adjective". Psychological verbs can also appear in place of the adjective in this structure.

Examples

Some examples:

  • 一点 也 不 性感。
  • 一点 都 不 难看。
  • 一点 也 不 喜欢 啤酒。
  • 一点 都 不 聪明。
