Indicating a characteristic with "xing"

Revision as of 06:18, 26 November 2013 by Parry (talk | contribs) (Text replace - "(\r?\n){2}" to "\r\n")

\r\n性 can be added after a word to express a characteristic or property. This is the equivalent of adding a "-ility" or "-ness" to English words, such as turning "possible" to "possibility" or “hard" to "hardness". It is also the equivalent of adding "-ic" to words, such as turing "history" to "historic".\r\n== Structure ==\r\nSince this is a suffix, it can be added to the end of words, similar to Pay attention to the words that can be used with 性. While there is no set rule on what can or cannot be used, there are trends we can look at. \r\n
