This is a page intended mainly for admin and editors, serving mainly to list out the current Grammar Wiki priorities (and providing the relevant links).

Current "Big Picture" Priorities

  1. Revise the content of the Grammar Points by Level lists to be as complete and level-appropriate as possible. This directly benefits AllSet Learning clients and also improves the accuracy of AllSet's future level-focused analytical initiatives.
  2. Fill out content for the content most requested by AllSet Learning clients, but while applying the 80-20 rule (just covering the most crucial 20% of the material on any given topic will satisfy 80% of visitors' needs).
  3. Starting at the lower levels, link each grammar point of the Grammar Points by Level lists to the appropriate pages using the appropriate AllSet grammar tag code. This establishes the necessary links between AllSet's backend data and the content of the Chinese Grammar Wiki. This also makes easy browsing of wiki content possible for AllSet clients.
  4. Add useful example sentences to pages that could use more substance.

Specific Priorities

  1. Finish the backend code to link Chinese Grammar Wiki pages to our backend analytical engine (task for Nilesh)
  2. Finish the basic content of the following highly requested pages (complete with examples and the appropriate code). Articles marked DFN are 'done for now', i.e. main article content has been completed
  3. Create pages, content for the A1 grammar points.

Ongoing Maintenance Tasks

  1. Keep the Chinese Textbook Grammar Index up to date, adding needed textbooks with their appropriate grammar points
  2. Add the relevant materials to Chinese Grammar Reference Materials, complete with proper Amazon affiliate links
  3. Update the Grammar Points by Level lists and add the appropriate grammar tag code links as new content is completed
  4. Keep the editor instructions page up to date
  5. Revise texts and links as necessary to be consistent with the style guide and editor instructions.
