Structure
The verb 想 (xiǎng) can be used to express "would like to". In this case it's an auxiliary verb. The structure is:
Subject + 想 + Verb + Object
Examples
- 我 想 喝 啤酒。I would like to drink beer.
- 他 想 回家。He would like to return home.
- 他 想 吃 葡萄。He would like to eat grapes.
- 你 想 喝 咖啡 吗?Would you like to drink coffee?
- 我 不 想 吃 米饭。I don't want to eat rice.
- 我 很 想 去 法国。I would really like to go to France.
- 他 不 想 见 我。He wouldn't like to see me.
- 我 不 想 买 车。I wouldn't like to buy a car.
