“要我说” (yàowǒshuō) is another, more colloquial way to say "in my opinion" or "the way I see it." It is generally used to express a person's perspective or opinion about a matter.
Structure
The structure is very simple. All you need to do is put "要我说" in front of your opinion. Context will take care of the rest!

- 要我说，这 件 事 先 不要 告诉 爸妈。The way I see it, this is something we shouldn't tell Mom and Dad.
