Wikipedia has shown us a better way, and we are working hard to make Chinese grammar learner-friendly and accessible to all. We've already got 2,125 articles online, and we're growing! If you'd like to contribute, please get in touch.

Need Pinyin?
It's easy to get pinyin for all the Chinese characters in this wiki using free browser plugins. Also, by clicking on the little cog at the top right of any page you can also add spaces between characters if that helps you. Try it out with this: 你会中文吗？

Beginner (A1)
New to learning Chinese? Head over to our Learner FAQ. Here are some good grammar points for beginners: Basic sentence order Suggestions with ba Negation of past actions

Elementary (A2)
At this level, you're probably started to wonder a lot about how to use 了 (le). Here are some other useful grammar points: "Zai" following verbs Expressing duration Expressing "a little too" with "you dian"

Intermediate (B1)
So much to learn at this level! For example: 把 (ba) Sentences 被 (bei) Sentences The 是……的 (shi... de) Construction The particle 着 (zhe) Complements Separable verbs Expressing the Self-Evident with "ma"

Upper Intermediate (B2)
There are still plenty of finer points to work on at this level. For example: Emphatic adverb "ke" Expressing Fractions with "fenzhi" Emphasizing the Doer of an Action with "you"
