The phrase 很是 (hěn shì) can be used to emphasize what follows.
Structure
The adjective in the pattern is normally two characters, related to a psychological state. Psychological verbs (also two characters) can be used in place of adjectives.
很是 + Adj.
很是 + (一)个 + Noun Phrase
Examples
This pattern is informal, so it would be strange to use it with rather formal adjectives.
- 很是喜欢
- 很是得意
- 很是期待
- 很是兴奋
- 很是生气
