Expressing "just now" with "gangcai"

In order to use the concept of something "just now" occurring,use 刚才(gāngcái). Usually, it occurred not too long before speaking. It can be placed in front of the verb or subject of a statement.

名词，表示说话前不久发生的事情，可以用在动词或者主语前面。

Structure

刚才 + V.

Examples

• 不好意思，我刚才出去了。I'm sorry, I just now stepped out.
• 刚才下雨了，现在不下了。It was just now raining, now it's not.
• 她刚才笑了。She just now laughed.
