Combining verbs with "bing"

并(且）bìng(qiě) meaning "moreover" can be used to connect verbs . In this structure the two verbs used are equal to each other with neither being primary or secondary. 并且 is less formal than 并.

Here are some examples:

• 我们 负责 安装 并 维护 这个 机床。
• 这个 文件 交 给 你 编辑 并且 打印。
• 目睹者 能够并且 愿意 提供 证据。
