Verb with 住

Examples

住 can be used to express a "coming to a halt" as well as "undertaking an action firmly" or "tightly".

  • 站住!你 不 能 走 !Stop! You can't go!
  • 不 好意思,你 挡住 了 我 的 路 。Excuse me. You're standing in my way.
