The following structures used to make comparisons in Chinese are organized according to our grammar points by level.

Grammar Point (English)	Pattern	Examples
Approximations with "chabuduo"	Subj. + 差不多	我们的中文水平差不多。
Basic comparisons with "bi"	Noun 1 + 比 + Noun 2 + Adj.	你比我胖。
Basic comparisons with "meiyou"	Noun 1 + 没(有) + Noun 2 + Adj.	你没有我胖。
Basic comparisons with "yiyang"	Noun 1 + 跟 / 和 + Noun 2 + 一样 + Adj.	你跟他一样高。
Expressing "even more" with "geng"	更 + Adj.	我想找一个更有钱的男朋友。
Superlative "zui"	最 + Adj. (+ 了)	谁最有钱？

Grammar Point (English)	Pattern	Examples
Expressing "compared with" using "gen"	跟 + Noun 1 + 比 (起来) ，Noun 2⋯⋯	跟上海比，北京的冬天比较干。
Expressing "even more" with "geng" or "hai"	Noun 1 + 比 + Noun 2 + 更 / 还 + Adj.	他比姚明还高。
Expressing "much more" in comparisons	Noun 1 + 比 + Noun 2 + Adj. + 多了	拼音比汉字容易多了。
Expressing "multiples" with "bei"	Noun 1 + 是 + Noun 2 + 的 + Number + 倍	他现在的工资是两年前的三倍。
Expressing "rather" with "bijiao"	Subj. + 比较 + Adj.	这个问题比较简单。
Expressing comparable degree with "you"	Noun 1 有 Noun 2 + Adj. + 吗？	他有我帅吗？

Basic comparisons with "bu bi"	Noun 1 + 不比 + Noun 2 + Adj.	你不比别人笨。
Comparing specifically with "xiang"	Noun 1 + 不像 + Noun 2 + 这么 / 那么 + Adj. / Verb	你怎么像我妈一样啰嗦！
Comparisons with "biqi"	比起 + B (+ 来) ，A ~	比起上海，我老家的物价便宜多了。
Comparisons with "buru"	不如⋯⋯	我的汉语不如他的。
The opposite of "chabuduo" is "cha hen duo"	Subj. + 差很多	中国文化和西方文化差很多。
